Subdued Elegance

Now that Margaret Russel is the editor-in-chief of Architectural Digest, looks like I'll be subscribing once again!  This Napa Valley home from the latest A.D. issue looks like a nice place to be right about now.  I love the cream and white tones with the contrast of dark finishes and very little colour...so soothing.

Colour & Pattern

I normally don't go for anything with this much colour, but it's going to be hot this year.  This work by the colour queen, Tricia Guild really makes me want to experiment with brights and patterns more!

A Showroom Home

A rotating collection of mid century furniture and art work in this Upper West Side Apartment is switched out every three months.  Once the decorator duo sells a piece they bring in new ones.  It kinda sounds like what I do with accessories.  Gustavo and Mark travel the Globe to seek out playful wares and chic furniture to maintain a fresh Pied-a-Terre and gallery space for GM Decor

Scout

I think these tight vignette shots from Scout Design are fun.  Nicki Clendening and Callie Jenschke work their magic by mixing modern and traditional together which results in quirky, interesting and eclectic atmospheres. They really do have the knack for "scouting" out vintage finds!

A Fashionable Apartment

Former Brooks Brothers director, now interior designer, Jarlath Mellett designs one fashionable apartment in the heart of SoHo, NYC.  From the pages of the new Lonny Mag issue.
