Eggs & Bottles
I was so happy to discover Ion Zupcu's work at an Auction last month. Zupcu photographs objects in such a way that gives them a mysterious antiquated appearance with blurred lines and smokey sepias, which is what attracted me to the Romanian born artist. The stacked collections remind me a bit of Irving Penn's concept he did in the 1980's. Ion says "People don't have time to stop and discuss the way they feel about shapes, styles, and objects they see, so my images are a conversation with myself, a diary of what I see."

Interior Photography
I enjoy my line of work, but I often wonder about other jobs . A photographer is on the very top of that list, specifically an interior/architecture photographer. the angles lighting composition...all so fascinating to me. Here are some shots of Michael Mundy's work. Lots of inspiration!
Art Basel, Miami Beach
Scott Burton, Hectapod Table 1982. Andrew Kreps Gallery
Art Basel is one of the leading art shows in the country and is certainly worth visiting, or at least the online galleries. The show offers a lot of art work from new up and coming artists which is affordable since they are not well known yet! I've included some of my favorites from the Miami Beach show on December 2-5.

Classic and Quirky
Some new shots from one of my favorite photographers, Todd Selby. These are images of Andy and Kate Spades apartment. Again, its the collected objects and juxtaposition of classic chic and quirky whimsy that interests me.
